As of May 25 of this year, the NWA National Championship has been without a holder. Since then, matches took place to determine who the new champion would be. On tonight’s edition of NWA Powerrr, this journey comes to an end as two wrestlers vye for the vacant title. Depending on the result, the title will either be reclaimed by the former champion or find an entirely new home. With this in mind, here is what the National Wrestling Alliance has in store for this week’s show.
The stage is set!
This week on #NWAPowerrr @ChrisAdonis & @Jtg1284 will face off to decide who the NWA National Heavyweight Champion is.

NWA National Championship: Chris Adonis vs. JTG
As stated earlier, it was on May 25 that the NWA National Championship was rendered vacant. This was a conscious decision made by then-titleholder Chris Adonis. On the same show, a battle royal was held to determine a new number one contender for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship at When Our Shadows Fall. Given his status as an NWA titleholder, Adonis was unable to compete. For this reason, “The Masterpiece” relinquished the title, competing in said battle royal to provide Nick Aldis, the heavyweight champion and his fellow Strictly Business teammate, with the advantage. Despite Adonis’s intentions, it was Trevor Murdoch, who had been at odds with Strictly Business for weeks beforehand, that emerged victorious.
From there, two TV matches were held to determine who would fight for the vacant NWA National title. The first of these matches took place on the June 16 edition of NWA Powerrr, which featured JTG, Fred Rosser, and El Rudo squaring off. In this competitive contest, it was JTG that emerged victorious, moving forward. The second three-way match, which took place one week later, featured Parrow and Strictly Business members Adonis and Thom Latimer. Though the powerhouse Parrow put forth a valiant effort, he was no match against Latimer and Adonis, the latter of whom was declared the winner. With these two bouts decided, the stage was set for tonight’s NWA National Championship match.
This particular title match is one that can go either way. JTG made his NWA debut last month at When Our Shadows Fall, and since that time, he’s impressed with his performances. This doesn’t even begin to touch on his strong work across the independent scene. It’s apparent that, in the past couple of years, he’s come into his own and looking to make a bigger impact. Meanwhile, Adonis will enter this match with a single goal: to reclaim the title he never truly lost. He surrendered the title for a gamble that, unfortunately, didn’t pay off for him. This will make him that much more motivated to win. On this week’s NWA Powerrr, viewers will either see a man take back his prize or a competitor etch his name in a title with decades of history behind it.
.@mechvwolf & @Bestia666tj made another strong statement last week about their experience so far in the NWA.
They want to end the "mockery" of the titles held by @AronsThoughts and @Jr_KRATOS.

What Else to Expect on NWA Powerrr
Last week, on NWA Powerrr, the NWA World Tag Team Champions were on opposite sides. While Aron Stevens teamed with Mims and Captain YUMA, Kratos worked alongside Hawx Aerie, the father-and-son duo of Luke and PJ Hawx. During the match, La Rebelion interrupted to express their thoughts. Simply put, they believe Stevens and Kratos to be a mockery of the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Tonight, the duo of Bestia 666 and Mecha Wolf team with a mystery partner to face El Rudo and Hawx Aerie.
On the same show, Sal Rinauro was set to challenge The Pope for the NWA World Television Championship. As Rinauro stood in the ring, however, he was attacked from behind by Colby Corino. Keep in mind that, on the second episode of NWA High Voltage, Rinauro became the number one contender by defeating Corino and PJ Hawx in a three-way match. Following the aforementioned attack, will “Your Pal” Rinauro be ready for his deserved opportunity against the charismatic NWA World Television Champion this week?
The NWA women’s division continues to heat up. With Kamille waiting in the wings as the NWA World Women’s Champion, as well as various potential contenders vying for an opportunity, only one can rise to the occasion. Tonight, former women’s titleholder Thunder Rosa teams with Skye Blue to face the team of “Smiley” Kylie Rae and a former women’s titleholder in her own right, Serena Deeb. Rosa and Deeb have expressed their intentions to win back the gold and a victory in this tag team contest may put them that much closer to the goal at hand.
