With Day One of the ChocoPro One of a Kind Tag League in the books, viewers are seeing a picture of the league in question as it develops. The previous episode saw two competitive tag team matches featuring tandems looking to make their mark. ChocoPro #128 looks to be no different, as two teams from Block A and two teams from Block B fight it out.
To run down some general rules, if a team wins a match, they receive 2 points; meanwhile, a draw results in each competing team receiving 1 point each while a loss results in 0 points. The teams from both blocks that earn the most points will meet in a final match to declare the first-ever One of a Kind Tag League winners. Without any further delay, let’s take a look at the current standings and the action set for episode #128.

ChocoPro #128 Full Card
One of a Kind Tag League Block A Match: Dragon Ninja (Sayuri and Chon Shiryu) vs. Best Bros (Mei Suruga and Baliyan Akki)
On the previous episode of ChocoPro, in the One of a Kind Tag League, Best Bros fought TropiKawild to a draw. Of all the matches to end in such a fashion, it would make sense for it to be their encounter. While Mei Suruga and Baliyan Akki are the current Asia Dream Tag Team Champions, Yuna Mizumori and SAKI are multi-time Asia Dream Tag Team titleholders in their own right. Each team earned a point, putting them on the board. Nonetheless, a draw was perhaps not the result Best Bros were looking for. Nonetheless, Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling‘s reigning tag team titleholders will wrestle their second Block A match on this episode, taking on the illusionary, disciplined duo of Dragon Ninja.
For those that are new to ChocoPro, Sayuri and Chon Shiryu began teaming this past March. This was when their team, known as Dragon Ninja, started to take shape. Sayuri is among the fourth generation Gatoh Move wrestlers, continually building her skill set. Meanwhile, Shiryu is a veteran of professional wrestling and kung fu alike. In fact, most of his matches in 2021 have taken place under the ChocoPro banner, whether as a singles competitor or working alongside Sayuri. Dragon Ninja has been a formidable team, but given the renewed focus of Best Bros heading into this match, they will have to put forth their best effort yet.
One of a Kind Tag League Block B Match: White Comaneci (Tokiko Kirihara and Antonio Honda) vs. Egg Tart (Chie Koishikawa and Hagane Shinnou)
Egg Tart, the team of Chie Koishikawa and Hagane Shinnou, made their One of a Kind Tag League debut on the last episode. Despite a valiant effort, Egg Tart fell to their opponents PSYCHO and CHANGO, the team of Melt Brain Dancing. Needless to say, a loss isn’t the ideal way to begin one’s run in a tag league. Despite this, it’s still early in the tag league, meaning that the girl with “Too Much Energy” and her more introverted yet hard-hitting ally can still make their way to the top of Block B. The challenges that await them won’t stop, however, as evidenced by their opponents heading into ChocoPro #128.
Wily and oftentimes underhanded, White Comaneci’s wrestling approach can best be described as a mix of technical wrestling and trickery. Tokiko Kirihara, another one of the fourth-generation Gatoh Move stars, boasts a background in mixed martial arts, making her perhaps the most physically formidable member of said fourth-generation class. Meanwhile, anyone that has watched DDT Pro will attest to the comedic yet still effective wrestling style of Antonio Honda. Together, Kirihara and Honda have formed their bizarre tandem known as Black Comaneci. However, in the One of a Kind Tag League, they will be dubbed White Comaneci. If their prior matches are indicative, however, don’t expect them to follow the rulebook to the letter.
ChocoPro #128 will air on June 27 at 10:00 AM JST (June 26 at 9:00 PM EST).
