In her Monday Night Raw in-ring return, Eva Marie was scheduled to face Naomi in one-on-one action. What viewers didn’t expect, however, was Marie returning to World Wrestling Entertainment with an enforcer by her side. Joining the pink-haired returnee, much to the surprise of the WWE Universe, was none other than former NXT UK Superstar Piper Niven. Marching down to the ring, Niven made quick work of Naomi, picking up a decisive pinfall victory. Following the match, Eva Marie took the mic to announce herself as the winner, a giddy Niven celebrating with her new friend all the while. It is currently unknown whether Piper Niven will retain her preexisting ring name on the main roster, though according to rumor, her pitched name was “Doudrop.”

Hailing from Ayrshire, Scotland, Piper Niven made her WWE debut in the summer of 2017. She took part in the first-ever Mae Young Classic tournament, in which she performed valiantly. She bested Santana Garrett and Serena Deeb before eventually falling to Toni Storm. She would become a more consistent performer in WWE, specifically the NXT UK brand, in 2019. Though she never won the NXT UK Women’s Championship during her name on the brand, Niven was a physically dominant competitor, taking the likes of Rhea Ripley and Kay Lee Ray to their limits.
Piper Niven, or “Doudrop” is rumors are to be believed, would be the first NXT UK talent to move directly to the main roster. While Ripley was an NXT UK performer as well, she spent time in NXT proper before eventually making her move to the main roster. It’s been heavily rumored that Piper would join Marie, on the main roster, as the latter’s “muscle” of sorts. WWE viewers can catch Niven, as well as Eva Marie, on Monday Night Raw every Monday at 8 PM EST.
