IMPACT Wrestling: Contract of Moose Finishes in June 2021

Moose TNA World Heavyweight Championship

IMPACT Wrestling star, Moose, has confirmed via Twitter that his contract with the company is up in June. The former two-time IMPACT Grand Champion has been with the company since 2017 and has been a vital member of the roster for the duration of his run. Until recently, Moose was also the TNA World Champion, before his unification bout against Rich Swann at Impact Wrestling Sacrifice 2021, where Swann unified the TNA with his Impact World title.

Could Moose Move On?

A powerful athlete who boasts a near-unrivaled aura of legitimacy within the company, Moose is a valuable commodity. Over the past year, he has come on leaps and bounds to become arguably the biggest name in IMPACT. Now, with his most recent Tweet, not only has Moose confirmed that his contract is expiring but that he hopes to win the IMPACT World Championship. All Elite Wrestling‘s Kenny Omega is the current holder, having defeated Rich Swann in a “Winner Takes All” match at IMPACT Rebellion 2021. Moose poses a threat to Omega unlike any other and there is no doubt that should the match happen, Omega will have his work cut out for him. Once Moose’s contract expires, there is no telling where he’ll go. One thing is certain: he will be in demand. Athletes like Moose are rare and as polarizing as he is, this won’t stop promotions from being interested in his services.
