This week, NWA Powerrr makes its return to FITE! Last week saw the debut of the National Wrestling Alliance‘s NWA PowerrrSurge. On this episode, fans saw a recap of various NWA events, in addition to a special singles match pitting Matthew Mims against Jeremiah Plunkett. The return episode of Powerrr is one to keep an eye on, as the future contender for the NWA World Women’s Championship will battle a returning star. In addition, the NWA World Tag Team Championship will be on the line. Let’s get into the scheduled action to take place.
Nick Aldis vs. Jordan Clearwater
In a special exhibition match, the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, Nick Aldis, will take on independent wrestling star, Jordan Clearwater. Recently, “The National Treasure” expressed interest in recruiting for Strictly Business, which has yielded mixed responses from Kamille and Thom Latimer. Nonetheless, it’s been stressed by the members that this move is, like the faction itself, “strictly business.” Perhaps Aldis will find a new recruit in Jordan Clearwater, who was last seen on NWA Powerrrr this past March, when he lost to Parrow. Though he’s only been wrestling for a few years, Clearwater has been making waves in the independent wrestling scene. Though this match will be a non-title affair, a win could be huge for “The Golden Boy,” especially as Aldis continues the aforementioned recruitment process.

Kamille Battles Jennacide on NWA Powerrr
At last month’s NWA Back for the Attack event, Kamille successfully overcame Thunder Rosa in a number one contender’s match for the NWA World Women’s Championship, currently held by Serena Deeb. Since then, Kamille has had her hands full, not only in regard to Strictly Business but her own competitive endeavors. Most recently, on episode 22 of Powerrr, she defeated Alex Gracia in singles competition. This week, Kamille will step up to the returning Jennacide, who debuted on episode 23 in a tag team match pitting her and Skye Blue against Gracia and Rosa. Kamille versus Jennacide can best be described as a hoss fight, pitting two powerhouse wrestlers in what’s sure to be a hard-hitting affair. This will be a major challenge for Kamille en route to her future NWA World Women’s Title match.

Aron Stevens and JR Kratos Defend the NWA World Tag Team Championship
Championship gold will be on the line on this episode of NWA Powerrr. To be specific, the NWA World Tag Team Championship will be up for grabs, as Aron Stevens and JR Kratos prepare for this upcoming encounter. Stevens and Kratos won the titles on UWN Primetime Live late last year, but have yet to defend them. Their first defense will be a unique one, as they are set to take on Sal Rinauro and a mystery partner. Rinauro, who has been a cult hero of sorts on NWA programming, was promised a title match. What isn’t known, however, is the individual he will pair with. Depending on the mystery partner in question, this may spell the end of Stevens and Kratos as champions before their reign has a chance to begin. Watch as the mystery is revealed on NWA Powerrr.
Other Events to Expect on NWA Powerrr:
Trevor Murdoch, the former NWA National Championship, will demand a face-to-face meeting with Chris Adonis. A few weeks ago, Murdoch lost his beloved title to Adonis following a sneak attack from “The Masterpiece” earlier in the show. Needless to say, this will be anything but a cordial encounter.
Da Pope, the reigning NWA World Television Champion, will be joined by Austin Idol and Tyrus to “clear the air” regarding the title. On the previous episode of NWA Powerrr, Da Pope successfully defended against Fred Rosser. During the same match, Idol and Tyrus were watching from ringside, seemingly in the champion’s corner. Expect to see a shift in the title scene on this upcoming episode.
