Rising independent wrestling star Skye Blue is making her AEW debut on the April 12 edition of AEW Dark: Elevation when she takes on Britt Baker. Blue is a name that has been gaining steam on the independent circuit recently and even made her NWA debut on a recent episode of Powerrr.
Skye Blue debuted in just 2019 but has quickly become a name on the lips of hardcore fans as someone with a bright future. Her being in Florida for WrestleMania week made this a perfect opportunity for AEW to bring her in and see what she’s made of opposite one of their top names. Despite only being 2 years into her career she has won three different championships, namely the ZERO1 USA Women’s Championship, CSW Women’s Championship, and the GPW Battle Royal title. She has also already made her debut for Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) and AAWPro, two of the premier independent wrestling companies in the U.S.
As she has shown in her time with Florida’s Generation Championship Wrestling Skye Blue is capable of pulling off an upset as she has defeated the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts title holder Deonna Purrazzo and IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team champion Kiera Hogan in their ring.
