Bill Carr Makes ROH Debut at 19th Anniversary

Bill Carr made his Ring of Honor (ROH) debut during the promotion’s 19th Anniversary pay-per-view on March 26th. Carr is the long-time tag team partner of Dan Barry. The two wrestlers are former Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) and Wrestling Revolver (PWR) Tag Team Champions. Carr has worked with WWE under the name Bobby Dutch as part of the now-defunct developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW).

Bill Carr made his ROH debut during the unsanctioned match between Matt Taven and Vincent. The two had a cinematic style match that lasted about 13 minutes and included plenty of brawling and trash-talking between the former stablemates. Toward the end of the match, Taven and Vincent brawled to the top of a balcony. They scaled the railing on the balcony and traded blows overlooking a tall drop down to the floor. As the two traded blows, aiming to knock the other off the railing, Carr came from behind and knocked both men off of the balcony. The two were sent to the floor crashing through two tables on the way down.

Carr made his way to the floor to pick up Vincent and carry him out of the building. As Taven laid on the floor, the camera cut back to the arena, ending the match in a no contest. Ian Riccaboni noted that Carr looked familiar on commentary following the match, but he was not named during the broadcast. Stay tuned for more updates on Bill Carr and his ROH storyline.
