With Bad Bunny currently having a major presence on WWE Television as part of an angle with Damien Priest it would seem that a fellow musician and WWE fans has been tempted to get in the game. A rapper by the name of Bow Wow has claimed on Twitter that he will be training with WWE Hall Of Famer Rikishi to chase his dreams of being in the WWE.
I have officially decided to train with my boy @TheREALRIKISHI at his gym in California to get ready for the @wwe . LOCKED IN
— Bow Wow (@smoss) February 15, 2021
Rikishi is, of course, part of one of the most famous wrestling families in professional wrestling and he has made the move to a trainer for KnokX Pro Academy in California where he is the head trainer alongside Reno Anoa’i. Not only has Rikishi trained MLW World Champion Jacob Fatu but he has also trained Miro (fka Rusev) and Vanessa Borne so Bow Wow is in good company.
Bow Wow has been throwing shots at WWE faction RETRIBUTION as well as Priest and Bad Bunny so he has some ready-made feuds should he make the jump to the WWE. Following the success of Bow Wow in the merchandising side of things it would be wise for WWE to keep working with more modern mainstream artists like Bow Wow, especially when they have a very public love of professional wrestling.
