Abadon “The Living Dead Girl” is All Elite

On March 10, 2020, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) brought in West Coast indie wrestler Abadon to face off against Hikaru Shida in action on AEW DARK. While Abadon’s AEW debut was more of an enhancement role, the nightmarish appearance and antics of “The Living Dead Girl” made her an internet sensation overnight. She even gained high praise from Kenny Omega himself who declared “Abadon was fantastic. Can’t wait for folks to check out her match” in a Tweet sent out after the tapings for DARK took place.

Abadon is only about a year into her pro wrestling career, working primarily on the West Coast with Denver, Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling. The goth agitator returned to AEW on Wednesday, this time appearing as the opponent for the highly anticipated recent-signee Anna Jay who had been pre-hyped with her own vignette pre-match. But in shocking fashion, Abadon dismantled Jay with ease, a move that seemed to shatter Anna Jay leading to her seemingly joining Dark Order.

With a quick win, Abadon scored her first victory in AEW and the news only got better for the young wrestler. Shortly after the end of the match, AEW announced on their Social Media that Abadon was the latest name to become ALL ELITE, signing with the company.

Things are about to get spooky in AEW with the arrival of a unique twist on the growing trend of horror-inspired characters such as Rosemary, Holidead, and Su Yung. She just may be the Penelope Ford to Jimmy Havoc‘s Kip Sabian.
