NJPW & DDT Shows Cancelled Due To Coronavirus

NJPW New Beginning USA

Stardom recently cancelled a number of upcoming shows due to the coronavirus outbreak.  Since then the spread of the infection has continued forcing many other Japanese companies like New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) to cancel events.

NJPW

New Japan Pro Wrestling has cancelled all events between March 1st and 15th.  This includes the anniversary tour which was supposed to feature a clash between Tetsuya Naito and Hiromu Takahashi.  This also affects the recently announced New Japan Cup with 8 tournament shows cancelled.

DDTPro

DDT, Ganbare and Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling have also cancelled a number of upcoming shows.  A total of nine shows were cancelled between February 28th and March 8th.  DDT will, however, run empty arena shows in their dojo during this period.  All TJPW title matches scheduled to take place will be rescheduled.

Active Advance Pro Wrestling (2AW)

2AW has cancelled a show scheduled to take place on March 8th

Pro Wrestling Noah & Wrestle-1

These promotions have yet to cancel any shows but they have cancelled events.  Noah cancelled a fan meeting while W-1 called off a press conference.

We are sure there will be more cancellations to come and will attempt to update as much as possible.
