Brian Pillman Jr.

At Saturday night’s Warrior Wrestling event, Warrior Wrestling 8, Brian Pillman Jr. entered his second match of the night – after a hellacious match against Bully Ray – to outlast seven other men – Michael Elgin, Lance Archer, Sam Adonis, Black Taurus, Aramis, Andrew Everett, and Alex Zayne – to become just the second Warrior Champion, after former champ Brian Cage was forced to relinquish the title due to injury.

Brian Pillman Jr. Wins Warrior Championship

The win marks Brian Pillman Jr’s first major singles title, although he’d previously won the Supreme Mid-America Heavyweight Championship with Indiana’s Supreme Wrestling last year. Pillman Jr. began wrestling in 2017 and has exceded all expectations as one of the hottest young talents in the US indies. He’s been a crucial part of Major League Wrestling (MLW) as part of the new Hart Foundation with Davey Boy Smith Jr. and former partner Teddy Hart, and has also appeared for the likes of IWA Mid South, Beyond Wrestling, Black Label Pro, Rockstar Pro, and many others. He also appeared for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in the first Casino Battle Royale at the first Double or Nothing.
