In the build-up to Joey Ryan’s Penis Party, there’s been a lot of talent announced, but only two matches announced. But with this recent wave of announcement a ton of the announced talent has been placed into matches. So what joins the card of Priscilla Kelly vs Danhausen and RJ City vs Effy? Let’s take a look.
Shazza McKinzie, Kylie Rae, Gisele Shaw vs Amale, Taya Valkyrie, and Ivelisse
First off a six-person tag match which pits two teams of very talented women against each other. Some of whom were unannounced prior to this match’s announcement, but all of the teams have a range of experience and flair to them. Giving this an interesting proving ground for some talents that haven’t gotten a chance to shine, along with a showcase for more well-known talents.
Chris Brookes and Maki Itoh vs Konosuke Takeshita and Miyu Yamashita
This match is advertised as the DDT pro feature Match, keeping in line with last year the DDT Pro match being a defense of the Ironman Heavymetalweight title. This match pits the NEO Itoh Respect Army of Brookes and Itoh against top stars of DDT and TJPW. There is a fun bit to this as this tag match as Itoh and Yamashita fought for the Princess of Princess title last year at Coming to America, and Brookes and Takeshita will have crowned the inaugural universal champion by then.
Team Phallus (Joey Ryan, Colt Cabana, Grado) vs Team Pancrase (“Filthy” Tom Lawlor, Ken Shamrock, and Minoru Suzuki)
This match’s announcement is just one of those weird ones that are only found at Mania Week. Three really comedic wrestlers are going up against three of the most intense MMA styled wrestlers to have walked onto the wrestling scene. Both of these teams are no strangers to dipping into the other style. With Cabana and Ryan being very athletic and Tom Lawlor and Suzuki not afraid to dip into comedy when need be. It will be a very interesting style clash.
