Indie Watch: Priscilla Kelly

Indie Watch is our regular series that looks at all of the amazing talents working the independent circuits around the world. Some are veterans revitalizing their careers, some are indie prospects hitting their peaks, while others are names to be on the watch for! This edition looks at one of the most controversial wrestlers in the US “Hell’s Favorite Harlot” Priscilla Kelly

Former Mae Young Classic Competitor Prescilla Kelly has become one of the most talked-about wrestlers in all of independent wrestling.  In late 2018 Kelly got the whole world talking following a spot where she took a seemingly used tampon and shoved it in her opponent’s mouth during a match Suburban Fight Pro Wrestling.  She set the internet ablaze once again following a spot where she vomited on Joey Ryan’s penis during a match.  Whatever your opinion of these spots it’s clear that Kelly is willing to push boundaries inside the ring.

Kelly began training with Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment first acting as a valet before making her in-ring debut in March 2015.  It didn’t take long for Kelly to get booked by a whole host of companies like Shine and Women Superstars Uncensored.  In July of 2017, she became the first-ever Shine Nova Champion and she also had a prominent role in EVOLVE as the valet for Austin Theory.

2018 would be a huge year for Priscilla Kelly as she would get the chance to go to Japan to wrestle for Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling and made some appearances for Dramatic Dream Team.  In 2018 she also appeared in the Mae Young Classic, losing to Deonna Purazzo in the first round.  On the indie scene she also debuted for DEFY Wrestling and Queens Of Combat.  Even before burning down the internet Kelly’s career was blooming.

Kelly was now the name on everyone’s lips and somehow made her 2019 just as big as her 2018.  She debuted for SHIMMER and Pro Wrestling:EVE and was featured in one of Major League Wrestling’s only women’s division matches when she took on Zeda Zhang on an episode of Fusion.  Kelly also competed in the Casino Battle Royal at All Out

Despite only having five years of pro wrestling experience Priscilla Kelly has managed to have a very eventful career.  She has worked a whole host of the top independent wrestling companies and even been to Japan.  On the eve of her debut on AEW Dynamite it’s safe to say the controversial performer has a big future ahead regardless of where she signs.  Kelly really sets herself apart thanks to her unorthodox psychology techniques. Her moniker of Hell’s Favorite Harlot isn’t just a clever saying, she does indeed portray herself as an evil and sexual woman. Screaming, licking, and biting are just some of the games she will employ to get into her opponent’s head (as well as the aforementioned tampon and vomit spots). Priscilla also has a very strong skill with words, having several haunting and thought-provoking promos under her belt which could make her stand out from the pack even more.
