#AndNEW: Besties in the World Win EVOLVE Tag Team Titles

Besties In The World (Mat Fithcett & Davey Vega) win

Last night at EVOLVE 142 in Chicago, Illinois, The Besties in the World (Mat Fitchett & Davey Vega) defeated AR Fox and Leon Ruff to become the new EVOLVE Tag Team Champions. It marks the 6th set of tag team championships won by the Besties in the World, in what has been an incredible year in an already exciting career so far for the duo.

The duo has been tagging together since 2011, when they were initially the Sex Bob-ombs, and then in 2015 changed their names to Kobra Kai Dojo. In 2016 they changed once more to their current moniker, and they’ve been on fire ever since. And while they’ve wrestled all over the US during their formative years, working for the likes of AAW, Beyond Wrestling, Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW), St. Louis Anarchy, and more, the past year has seen them explode internationally as well.

In the past year or so, they’ve made their European debuts, working with PROGRESS, Fight Club: PRO, ATTACK! Wrestling, Over the Top (OTT) Wrestling and RevPro, while maintaining a strong presence in their native US as well. In just 2019 alone, they’ve won Fight Club: PRO Tag Team Championships, become 3x Wrestling Revolver Tag Team Champions, 2x Glory Pro United Glory Champions, Alpha-1 Tag Team Champions in Canada, and now simultaneously hold the EVOLVE Tag titles and their third reign as AAW Tag Team Champions.
