Hangman Page vs Chris Jericho Announced For ALL OUT

Jericho vs. Page set for All Out

After plenty of speculation and Chris Jericho himself mentioning it on Busted Open Radio, All Elite Wrestling has made it official. In the main event of ALL OUT on Labor Day weekend in Chicago, IL will be “Hangman” Adam Page taking on Chris Jericho to crown the first ever AEW World Champion.

This comes off of the heels of both men qualifying for the matchup at AEW’s inaugural event, Double or Nothing. Page earned his shot on The Buy-In pre-show when he drew the Joker card to be the last entry into the Casino Royale and won the matchup. Jericho did so by defeating Kenny Omega in the main event of the show when he brought out the Judas Effect to capture the victory.

It is a tale of two stars in this match. Adam Page is just the age of 27 and has yet to win a world title in his career. Jericho, on the other hand, is a six-time world champion and has had 28 years of wrestling experience to this point. A truly interesting dynamic that is sure to bring the best out of both competitors in the hopes of winning the AEW World Championship.

The future of AEW lies in the hands of their future “face of the company” Adam Page and the crafty veteran who wants all the credit in Chris Jericho. The excitement is sure to build more and more with both men building the matchup for months to come.

Now that we know where and when the AEW World Championship match will be on the line, it is just a matter of who. Can Adam Page shock the world or will Chris Jericho continue his incredible legacy with yet another world title victory?

Tickets to the historic event, ALL OUT, will be available on June 14th to the public and are sure to run out fast. The announcement comes after an emotional epilogue to Cody Rhode’s Road to Double or Nothing series, where various performers from Double or Nothing reflect on the magnitude and energy of AEW’s debut PPV.
