Luke Harper Requests WWE Release

Luke Harper

Former Wyatt Family member Luke Harper has requested his WWE release.  The former NXT and SmackDownLIVE tag team champion and former Intercontinental Champion has not been on TV since August 2018 when his tag partner Erick Rowan got injured.  In October Harper took time off due to injury but returned to the house show loop in March.  He was a part of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35 which marked his WWE return but was eliminated fairly easily

If it is granted Harper would return to the independent wrestling scene for the first time since 2012.  As Brodie Lee, he wrestled all over the world including places like Dragon Gate, CHIKARA and Combat Zone Wrestling among others as he was a confused heavyweight that believed he was a cruiserweight.

Harper returning to the indie scene can only be a positive at a time when the scene is in need of big-name stars and they style Harper once wrestled being more popular than ever ensures he will deliver killer matches wherever he goes.
