#AndNEW: South-Coast Connection Win Defiant Tag Team Championships

New Tag Team Champions have been crowned in Defiant Wrestling as The South-Coast Connection duo of Ashley Dunn and Kelly Sixx won the titles from Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher, the pairing known as Aussie Open, on this week’s episode of Loaded.

South-Coast Connection Win Defiant Tag Team Championships

Dunn and Sixx were initially brought into Defiant (then-WCPW) at the 2017 Chain Reaction iPPV, losing to The Swords of Essex’s Will Ospreay and Scott Wainwright for the WCPW Tag Team Championships. They came in at the request of The Aerial Assassin as relatively unknown names but left the building with the praise of everyone in attendance. As of late, the duo has been partaking in the General Ameen Tag Team Invitational with the hopes of earning a championship opportunity. They beat teams such as The Models (Joey Hayes & Danny Hope) and The Dynamic Duo (Thomas Billington & Mark Billington) en-route to being granted this championship match on the final Loaded before Magnificent Seven on Saturday evening.

This put an end to Davis and Fletcher’s reign at a staggering 316 days. They captured the titles at last year’s No Regrets event from Jimmy Havoc and Mark Haskins, and have since defended the gold against the likes of CCK, The Filthy Kliq, and Alpha Bad. It took a steel chair to Mark Davis’ knee to spell the end of the Aussies second reign with the championships.
