During the opening show of this year’s New Japan Cup tour, a video package was shown teasing the arrival of Bullet Club’s latest member, El Phantasmo.

El Phantasmo Joins Bullet Club
No debut date was given for the Canadian standout, however, he would make for a fantastic addition to the field for the upcoming Best of the Super Juniors tournament in May/June. Looking further ahead, with El Phantasmo joining Bullet Club there is a strong possibility he will join forces with fellow Bullet Club junior heavyweight Robbie Eagles as the faction’s representatives in the junior heavyweight tag team division, now that Eagles’ former partner Ishimori is the Junior Heavyweight Champion.
El Phantasmo is a long time Canadian veteran from Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW), who has broken into the UK market with great success the past few years. He’s worked with NJPW’s UK partner, RevPro, for some time and even won the British J Cup last September, defeating such New Japan stars like KUSHIDA and Jushin Thunder Liger.
