Like most WWE writers, she has previous experience writing for TV and is even a published Playwright as she provided the book for The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical.  She worked with Disney channel to create an original animated series called Peter & Penuta, she would later come back to Disney as part of script rewrites, was a writer at Warner Horizon Television Inc. and has had TV concepts purchased by MTV. Her bio on the Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical website also states that “As a founding member of the popular all-female sketch-comedy team SHIRLEY CHICKENPANTS, she won praise from publications such as TALK, STUFF, PAPER, BUST, TIME OUT NEW YORK, PLAYBOY and THE VILLAGE VOICE, and played to sold-out crowds in New York and Los Angeles at HERE Arts Center, Joe’s Pub, HBO Workspace, ACME Comedy Theatre and others.”

She joined the WWE eight months ago with vast experience writing in the world of entertainment and is another shake-up in WWE’s recent creative overhaul which has seen them hire new agents, new writers and even re-hire Bruce Pritchard. Kelso will be working with another longtime female writer, Jed Pepperman (whom Kazeem referred to as the “house mom”) as well as new voice for women’s creative, Dana Warrior.
