PCO Heading to ROH As His Comeback Year Continues

PCO, the “Not Human” French-Canadian Frankenstein who has captivated the global indie scene the past year achieving cult-like status with his bizarre, and often tough to watch training videos, and his series of high profile matchups in 2018 against the likes of WALTER, Matt RiddleNick Gage, Ilja Dragunov, LA Park and more has seen his comeback hit fruition, as PWInsider has reported that PCO has signed an exclusive deal with Ring of Honor. On recent episodes of Ring of Honor TV, a pulsing heartbeat has been shown in vignettes, apparently leading up to his debut, which could take place as early as the Final Battle Fallout TV Tapings later this month. Indie promotions that had PCO booked in 2019 have already started to announce his unavailability.

It’s a long road to redemption for the former 3x WWF World Tag Team Champion, best known as his role as Pierre Carl Ouellette, one half of The Quebecers with Jacques Rougeau. The ROH deal marks his first full-time contract since his run with WCW in the late 1990s. PCO left the wrestling industry in 2010 and went on hiatus, returning in 2016 for a series of one-offs before returning full time in late 2017 with Black Label Pro.

Following his return against “All Ego” Ethan Page with BLP, PCO exploded onto the indie scene following a slugfest with WALTER at Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)‘s Joey Janela’s Spring Break 2 over WrestleMania weekend this past spring. Since then, PCO has gone on the run of his life, admittedly making more money this year on the indies than he did in any one year with the WWF or WCW. He’s also stated his new ROH deal is worth more than any pro contract he’s had previously.

Ring of Honor has seen the company lose a lot of stars in the past few years, including Keith Lee, War Machine, Lio Rush, Punishment Martinez, Cedric Alexander, and ACH, not to mention the impending departure of The Elite (Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Hangman Page and Marty Scurll).
