BREAKING: ROH Announces Women of Honor Championship

Moments ago at ROH Final Battle, ROH announcer Ian Riccaboni presented the entire Women of Honor division on stage, including introducing 24-year old Stardom sensation Mayu Iwatani, before announcing that in 2018, Ring of Honor will be crowning their first ever Women of Honor Champion, effectively creating an official women’s division in the company, beyond the one-off specials they’d traditionally been holding.

Ian Riccaboni also announced that a tournament starting on January 20 in Nashville, Tennessee would feature Women of Honor wrestlers, plus other wrestlers from Stardom and around the world, competing for the inaugural Ring of Honor women’s title.
