After weeks of Twitter and Social Media feuding that was seemingly going nowhere without any payoff, today’s NJPW Power Struggle revealed a bombshell that answered all the questions of the on-line battle between Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega. Following Omega’s IWGP United States Championship defence against Trent Baretta, a countdown clock appeared on screen to reveal this – Jericho vs Omega is coming to NJPW:

Many had initially thought that perhaps the feud was leading to a match between Jericho and Omega at Chris Jericho’s wrestling cruise next year, but the timing was unusual to be feuding this far ahead of the cruise next November. It’s now been revealed and made official by NJPW, that at Wrestle Kingdom 12 in Tokyo, Japan on January 4, 2018, Kenny Omega will face Chris Jericho in arguably one of the greatest dream matches ever realized.
