It’s been a chaotic past 48 hours since AAA’s Triplemania XXV on Saturday night, when word broke that AAA Reina de Reinas (Women’s) Champion Sexy Star went off script and dislocated GFW’s Rosemary’s shoulder during an armbar submission move to end the match. Last night, Rosemary finally broke her silence and confirmed that it was indeed not a “work” and that Sexy Star not only did in fact dislocate her shoulder but that she had to be forced to apologize (and insincerely it seems).
As expected, the wrestling industry took notice and many of the top stars in the world – both major and indie – took to Rosemary’s defence and joined in the condemnation of Sexy Star’s actions in the ring. Now, it seems that promotions are aligning in cancelling any future bookings with Sexy Star or now putting her on the Blacklist for any future potential bookings.
Pro Wrestling EVE, the UK’s top women’s promotion, launched the first blackballing on Sunday morning, followed by WrestleCircus and now WrestleCade. Sami Callihan, who books his own promotion, Pro Wrestling Revolver, and CZW, also joined the cause, and ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes seems to be making it a mission that he will not be booked on any show that features her on the card (essentially forcing promotion’s hands in choosing one or the other). Even WWE’s “Road Dogg” Brian James chimed in, mentioning he would do all he could “to blacklist her”.

The more I think about this, the madder I get.
OUR generation can END things like this.
Let's start a revolution to change things. pic.twitter.com/YyHbNGFJER

Are we 100% she did this maliciously? If so, what's her name? Let's get it out to every booker out there and blacklist her. Disgusting! #RT

Agreed. If it's a work, y'all got us! If not, you'll never step foot on SDLive. We're a team, a family, and you don't get away with this!

Sexy Star will never set foot in one of my locker rooms. I hope others follow suit.
