OTT On Demand: Must Watch Matches

OTT On Demand: Must Watch Matches

Coming out of Dublin, Ireland one of the lesser known members of the BritWres revolution OTT has been putting on some of the best shows on the independent scene in recent memory with the rabid Tivoli Theatre crowd creating an atmosphere unlike any other in indie wrestling and the usually stacked cards featuring some awesome matches.  OTT recently launched its on demand service which offers its entire back catalogue and all future events for a low price.  This is one company that you have to check out as OTT has been one of the best companies in the world over the past years with exceptional local talents such as “Session Moth” Martina, Justin Shape, The Lads From The Flats (Paddy M & Workie) and many, many more along with some of the worlds biggest stars including Rhino, Matt Riddle, Sami Callihan, “The Villain” Marty Scurll, Zack Sabre Junior and more.  In this article I will be pointing out some essential matches that you must watch from, this great company.

Will Ospreay vs Ricochet: The Dream Before Christmas

This was the match that launched OTT into the stratosphere and easily sold out the Tivoli Theatre in a record setting time, Ospreay vs Ricochet from the Best Of The Super Juniors (BOSJ) was the most talked about match in 2016 and the rematch was booked for OTT’s year ending show.  This match was insane to see live as both men had a match every bit as good as their BOSJ encounter with of course the flips coming fast and often in a game of one upmanship between two of this generations very best.  This match is a must watch for any fan of these two men

Ryan Smile vs Marty Scurll: Wrestlecon Day 2

These two men were locked in a bitter feud for much of 2016 culminating in this awesome grudge match, the wrestling is great but the crowd is even better with Scurll being treated like a god by the OTT faithful.

The Gymnasties (B. Cool & Sammy D) W/Justin Shape vs Kings Of The North (Bonesaw & Damian Corvin): OTT Even Better Than Better Than Our Best

This match featuring only Irish talent and all OTT guys was one of the most organically built in company history with The Gymnasties becoming one of the most beloved acts and the KOTN one of the most hated.  This match is Professional Wrestling at its peak where we see beloved faces vs hated heels,  with one of the biggest pops on company history at the end.

Marty Scurll vs Matt Riddle: Martina’s Gaff Party 2: Back In The Dr.Dre-Dublin

This match is the definition of a super indie match, two of the biggest stars in wrestling today went head to head in OTT in what was obviously a brilliant match with the hot crowd taking it up to another level.  Words wont do it justice WATCH THIS MATCH

Matt Riddle vs Kyle O’Reilly: Marble Hill Zone Act.1

This is the closest OTT has ever come to a 5-star match.  These two worked a stiff, MMA inspired match that was hard hitting from start to finish the tempo was high paced and the intensity levels never dropped in this sprint, a match that was without doubt even better than their PWG BOLA 2016 match that received 4 and 3/4 stars from Dave Meltzer.

British Strong Style (Pete Dunne, Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) vs “The Ultrastar” Angel Cruz, B.Cool & Tyler Bate W/Team PRICK Outer Space Oddysey 3

This was not a match it was a clusterf*ck and one of the funniest things to ever happen in a wrestling ring.  From the moment Tyler Bate tried representing both teams to the point Angel Cruz brought out an Axe (YES AN AXE) it was full of amazing comedy and showcases what OTT is all about.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson) vs The Uptown Funkers(Will Ospreay, Ryan Smile & Lio Rush): Scrappermania 3

The main event of OTT’s biggest ever show in front of a sold out National Stadium with 2000 OTT fans from all over the country making the trip to see this match.  A good mix of comedy with great in ring action this was a superfight with everything these men did over like rover with a crowd that was eating out of their hands.  This match was the biggest in OTT history and delivered with the 6-star man and The Young Bucks getting the infamous “Road Warrior” pop and the funkers bringing the fun to cap off what was an amazing show that should be watched in full.

OTT has a lot more to see than what I have described above but these matches are the best to watch to see what OTT is and whether this is the company for you and if you enjoy them then go back and see the full history of this great company.  It must be said this company never fails to deliver and is a one that every fan should be adding to their monthly watchlist.
