Another week of fantasy football action is in the books, as owners everywhere scour the waiver wire to find the best available quarterback streams. Looking around the league shows that players like Justin Herbert and Andy Dalton offer the best chance of positive performance in the coming weeks.
Note that, in order to be eligible for this list, the player needed to be available in at least 50% of fantasy leagues. Obviously, there is some variation from league to league, so make sure to peruse all available players before making your claims. There could be a better option available in your specific league.

Justin Herbert, Andy Dalton Highlight Fantasy Football Week 7 Quarterback Waiver Wire Streams
Justin Herbert
Generally speaking, this weekly column covers one-week, matchup-specific streams. Justin Herbert is a lot more than that. The Los Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback is the real deal, has a lock on the starting job, and is going to be destroying defenses for years to come. The rookie is coming off a bye, and now you should swoop him up, plug him into your starting spot, and not have to worry about streaming the quarterback position for the rest of the year.
Herbert has the talent, a great supporting cast, and a defense that should have him throwing the ball. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams should both be healthy, and Herbert has a little bit of rushing upside. Facing off against a terrible Jacksonville Jaguars defense, Herbert has good odds of putting up a QB1 performance and could even finish in the top five.
Andy Dalton
Andy Dalton is no Dak Prescott. However, he should be good enough to get the job done for fantasy football purposes. The Cowboys play on Monday Night Football in Week 6, which is after I initially publish these series of articles. However, there is really nothing Dalton can do in Week 6 to sway me from this opinion.
Based on his time in Cincinnati, we know that Andy Dalton is always as good as the sum of his parts. Those parts are pretty fantastic in Dallas, and he should be able to be a solid stream, if nothing else. Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup are arguably the best wide receiver trio in football, and the Cowboys defense will keep Dalton throwing the ball throughout the contest.
Kyle Allen
If you’re in a deeper league, Kyle Allen might be the best option that’s readily available. The former undrafted free agent certainly lacks the top-five ceiling, but he’s in a favorable matchup that could lead to a decent fantasy finish.
Allen and the Washington Football Team face off against an absolutely atrocious Dallas Cowboys defense. Terry McLaurin should run wild against this secondary, and Allen could easily finish the night with 275 passing yards and two touchdowns.
Drew Lock
Like Kyle Allen, Drew Lock probably won’t be the most successful play on a throw-for-throw basis. However, Lock’s projected volume in Week 7 should lead to a decent fantasy finish. Lock and the Denver Broncos face off against Patrick Mahomes and the high-flying Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City will probably build up an early lead, meaning that Lock will have to throw the ball early and often to have any hope of keeping up. Garbage time stats count just as much as regular ones, and Lock could stat pad his way to a decent outing.
