10 weeks of NFL play are officially in the books, which means bye weeks are in full swing. Gone are the days where you could just coast by on a strong draft. Now more than ever, you’ll need to search the waiver wire for all the best available tight ends. Heading into Week 11, you should set your eyes on Dallas Goedert, Mike Gesicki, and Dawson Knox.
Note that in order to make this list, the player had to be available in over 50% of fantasy leagues. If you’re in smaller leagues, there may be better players available. Make sure to check your waivers to see if there are any diamonds in the rough before submitting your claims.

Dallas Goedert, Mike Gesicki Highlight Fantasy Football Week 11 Tight End Waiver Wire Claims
Dallas Goedert
Dallas Goedert is a must-own in your fantasy football league. In case you hadn’t noticed, the Philadelphia Eagles pass-catchers are not playing up to their talent. DeSean Jackson is injured, Alshon Jeffery looks old, Nelson Agholor has a case of the drops, and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside isn’t ready to be an NFL contributor quite yet. With all of the uncertainty at receiver, the Eagles need to adapt to the talent around them. While the receivers aren’t great, Philadelphia has the best tight end duo in the league.
Zach Ertz is a well-established stud, but Dallas Goedert could break out over the second half of the season. He’s just as talented as Ertz and could easily thrive if given a larger share of the targets. With their season in jeopardy, look for the Eagles to take a page out of the 2011 Patriots playbook and run a lot of two tight end sets. There aren’t many reliable tight ends for fantasy, and Goedert could easily be one of the few for the remainder of the season.
Mike Gesicki
Trust the process with this one. After an impressive six-catch, 95-yard performance in Week 10, Miami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki recorded just three receptions for 28 yards. This obviously isn’t the performance you hoped for, but the targets were still there. Gesicki finished the night with six targets, second on the team to only DeVante Parker.
Preston Williams isn’t coming back in 2019, and somebody other than Parker needs to catch the ball. Right now, that somebody is going to be Mike Gesicki. While he is prone to bust weeks, he has a reliable target share and should be a solid start more often than not. He didn’t work out in Week 10, but don’t let that stop you from starting him in Week 11 if you need a stream.
Dawson Knox
This play is for the deepest of deep league. Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox flashed some talent throughout his rookie season but has yet to put it together for a full game. In Week 10, the rookie recorded four receptions for 55 yards, making him a solid play against a struggling Cleveland Browns defense. Josh Allen has been surprisingly effective in the short part of the field, so Knox has the ability to take advantage of a favorable matchup.
Said favorable matchup takes place in Week 11 against the Miami Dolphins. Even though the Dolphins are riding a two-game winning streak, this still isn’t a good defense. In Week 10, they allowed Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle to combine for eight receptions, 100 yards, and one touchdown. Knox is anything but a safe play, but he has a chance of putting together a solid outcome. If you’re truly desperate, he’s worth a play.
