AFC 1000-Yard Receivers

Projecting AFC 1000-Yard Receivers in 2026

Receivers earning the distinction of being identified as a 1000-yard receiver are always noted for their significant accomplishment. Even with relaxed passing-game rules that promote passing, getting to this plateau matters. AFC 1000-yard receivers in 2026? The projected number may surprise you.

AFC 1000 Yard Receivers in 2026: Yards and Probability

Let’s take a case-by-case look at each receiver in the AFC likely to top the 1,000 receiving yards mark for this season. Expected receiving yards and the probabilities(> 70%) of all receivers topping the 1,000-yard mark are identified in the table that follows.

AFC 1000 Yard Receivers in 2026: Top Ten

  • Ja’Marr Chase making the mark, Cincinnati: Joe Burrow has a lot to prove, and Chase should have a big year as the Bengals figure out just what this offense can become.
  • D.K. Metcalf, Pittsburgh: Metcalf gets a coach, Mike McCarthy, who knows how to use stud receivers. With the familiarity he has with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Metcalf will be in a prime position to get the ball early and often.
  • Brock Bowers, Las Vegas: Bowers is a tough match for anyone. Keeping him double-teamed likely won’t even matter.
  • Zay Flowers, Baltimore: Lamar Jackson will be out to prove this Ravens group is ready for the Super Bowl. Flowers will get his fair share of targets.
  • Khalil Shakir, Buffalo: Josh Allen is after another MVP, and with running back James Cook stressing defenses, Shakir should have plenty of single coverage this season for Allen to take advantage of.
  • Alec Pierce, Indianapolis: With the departure of Michael Pittman to the Steelers, Pierce is going to be the main target of Daniel Jones. With Jonathan Taylor a big candidate to top 2,000 rushing yards in 2026, Pierce will get plenty of throws his way.
  • Parker Washington, Jacksonville: Trevor Lawrence truly arrived in 2025. So did Washington. Expect more of the same in 2026.
  • A.J. Brown, New England: Brown goes to a Patriots team that was desperate for a stud receiver. The Maye to Brown connection is going to shine in 2026.
  • Harold Fannin, Cleveland: It might seem odd that the Browns’ mess at quarterback could make it tough for a receiver to top 1,000 yards. Fannin will make the list for the first time this season. Fanning, however, is the real deal and is a nightmare matchup for shorter defensive backs and slower linebackers.
  • Tee Higgins, Cincinnati: Defenses have all they can do to stop Chase, and Higgins benefits. The pair will top 1,000 yards in 2026.

AFC 1000-Yard Receivers in 2026: Last Four

  • Jaylen Waddle, Denver: The Broncos are going to have two 1,000-yard guys, with the speedy Waddle, the newbie in Denver, leading the pack.
  • Courtland Sutton, Denver: Sutton is going to join Waddle in the 1,000-yard club, as Bo Nix takes advantage of whichever standout receiver gets single coverage.
  • Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles: McConkey is a big yards-after-catch guy, and Head Coach Jim Harbaugh is going to make sure the shifty slot receiver lines up everywhere to take advantage of his versatility.
  • Nico Collins, Houston: Injuries hit Collins last season, but make no mistake about it, Collins is C.J. Stroud’s favorite target, and he will make sure Collins gets the ball in Stroud’s contract year.
