Ranking the Best AFC North Wide Receivers for 2026

Wide receiver is not only one of the most important positions on offense but also one of the most impactful positions critical to winning games at the highest level. The AFC North boasts some of the best wideouts in the NFL, and they all bring something different to the table and their respective teams. Returning this summer is Last Word On The NFL’s top returning series as we examine the best players at their position groups. So, without further ado, let’s rank the top wide receivers in the division.

Ranking the Best AFC North Wide Receivers for 2026

5. Jerry Jeudy, Cleveland Browns

Jeudy missed significant time last season with knee and hamstring issues, but this shouldn’t take away how good of a weapon he is. Cleveland desperately needs playmakers on offense, and Jeudy is still their biggest chess piece. The emergence of Harold Fanin Jr. at tight end was a revelation for the Browns, and rookie KC Concepcion could be an impact player in the slot or in different formations, which should give Jeudy more opportunities to build off a disappointing 2025.

4. DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers are in a similar position, lacking depth at wide receiver behind their number-one threat. Metcalf, much like Jeudy, is in a prime position to increase his efficiency and numbers from a disappointing seventh season in the NFL. New leading man Mike McCarthy could play a significant role in refreshing Pittsburgh’s offense, and Metcalf could be one of the biggest beneficiaries.

3. Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals

The Robin of the Bengals to Ja’Marr Chase’s Batman. Higgins is a WR1 on a team that fits him perfectly in a WR2 role in a city that adores him. Higgins came in as a rookie alongside Joe Burrow, and the duo has been integral to the franchise’s turnaround. The Bengals were wise to re-sign Higgins on the same day as Ja’Marr Chase, as both give Cincinnati one of the most potent offenses in the league. Fresh off his first Pro Bowl nod, Higgins aims to take his game to even higher levels to bring his team back to prominence atop the AFC North.

2. Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens wideout seems to be getting better and better with each passing year. Flowers had his best season as a pro in 2025, capping off his second Pro Bowl nod. His route-running has been more consistent, pairing well with his fantastic breakaway speed and shiftiness in space. Look for Flowers to continue his ascent, building on a 1,211-yard receiving season with five touchdowns.

1. Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals

No surprise here, as Chase is not only the best wide receiver in the division, but he might be the best in all of football. Burrow’s best friend has been as advertised since being taken by the Bengals in 2021 out of LSU. Uno has been a complete menace to defensive backs and keeps opposing head coaches up late at night. Chase has already made the Pro Bowl in every season he’s played; he’s also garnered All-Pro honors twice and was the Rookie of the Year in his freshman campaign with Cincinnati. If he remains healthy, you’re looking at one of the greatest to play the position.
