Carson Beck Dynasty Outlook Following Cardinals Selection

Carson Beck Dynasty Outlook Following Cardinals Selection

Carson Beck was the 65th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, where the Arizona Cardinals selected him as the first pick in the 3rd round. Beck was the 3rd quarterback picked in this Draft. What is Carson Beck’s dynasty outlook as the Cardinals look for their quarterback of the future?

Dynasty Outlook for Cardinals Quarterback Carson Beck

College Production

Beck spent six seasons in college, with the first three as a backup in Georgia, where he won two championships. He was a two-year starter for Georgia before transferring to Miami (FL) for his final season, leading the Hurricanes to the National Championship Game. In all three of his seasons as a starter, Beck had at least 3400 passing yards and 24 passing touchdowns. He did have 12 interceptions in each of his final two seasons. Unlike other quarterbacks such as Ty Simpson, Beck has plenty of game experience, making him a pro-ready player.

Arizona Cardinals Landing Spot

After releasing Kyler Murray in the offseason, the quarterback position for the Cardinals is up for grabs. Jacoby Brissett is the frontrunner after having a great season last year, but he is holding out, looking to be paid as a starting quarterback in the league. Gardner Minshew was the current backup quarterback before Beck came along. If Brissett and the Cardinals can not agree on a new deal, Beck will get a chance to start. The Cardinals will want to see if Beck can be the quarterback of their future before selecting one in the 2027 NFL Draft. There is a very high likelihood that Beck gets to start at least a few games this season.

If and when Beck is the starter, the Cardinals have plenty of weapons around him, including superstar tight end Trey McBride, the number three overall pick Jeremiyah Love, and Marvin Harrison Jr. If Beck can successfully get it to those guys, he can succeed.

Beck Dynasty Value

According to KeepTradeCut,  a website that crowdsources dynasty values from players who use the site, Beck is the QB95. Unfortunately, this has not been updated to reflect his Draft selection. Fantasy managers were not excited by Beck’s potential before the Draft, but now that he has a good landing spot, his ranking will skyrocket. Expect his ranking to be around the QB35 range, ranked around players such as Mac Jones, Anthony Richardson, Jalen Milroe, Justin Fields, and Geno Smith.

Beck Dynasty Rookie Draft

Due to the landing spot and potential to start games as soon as 2026, Beck will be the 3rd quarterback off the board in dynasty rookie drafts, after Fernando Mendoza and Ty Simpson. In Superflex drafts, Beck’s range is in the early-to-mid-second round. In non-Superflex drafts, Beck will go in the 3rd round.

Beck Dynasty Outlook

There are not many Day 2 or Day 3 quarterbacks with a path to be a starter within that player’s first year in the league. Beck is one of the few who can start in his rookie year and is on a great offense with plenty of playmakers around him. Beck is not an attractive pick in the 2nd round, but due to the lack of talent for skill players in this year’s rookie draft, Beck has risen to the 2nd round.
