Chris Bell, wide receiver, Louisville, 2026 NFL Draft prospect

Chris Bell Dynasty Outlook Following Dolphins Selection

Chris Bell was the 30th pick in the 3rd round (94th overall) in the 2026 NFL Draft, where the Miami Dolphins selected him as the 17th wide receiver off the board. What is Chris Bell’s dynasty outlook on a wide-open Dolphins depth chart?

Dynasty Outlook for Rookie Dolphins Wide Receiver Chris Bell

College Production

Bell spent all four years of his collegiate career with the Louisville Cardinals. After just seven receptions in his freshman year, he had 29 for 407 yards in his sophomore year and 43 for 737 and four touchdowns in his junior year. He finished his senior season with 72 receptions for 917 yards and six touchdown receptions before tearing his ACL and missing his final two games. He would have been drafted within the first two rounds if not for the ACL injury. The injury caused him to fall to the end of the 3rd round, but there is a good chance he will be ready for training camp.

Miami Dolphins Landing Spot

The Dolphins lost Tyreek Hill to injury and traded Jaylen Waddle away to the Broncos. The wide receiver room consists of Tutu Atwell, Jalen Tolbert, Malik Washington, Tahj Washington, and fellow third-round rookie Caleb Douglas. The Dolphins drafted Douglas ahead of Bell, but Bell is seen as the better player. The depth chart is wide open for anyone to be the WR1 for new quarterback Malik Willis. The Dolphins are in full rebuild and tank mode, but someone has to catch passes for Willis. If Bell can be fully healthy for Week 1, he can be the WR1 for the Dolphins.

Bell Dynasty Value

According to KeepTradeCut, a website that crowdsources dynasty values from players who use the site, Bell is the WR89. He is ranked behind rookie Chris Brazzell II, Stefon Diggs, and Tyreek Hill, while ranked ahead of Darnell Mooney, Isaiah Bond, and Dont’e Thornton. Like most rookies who land in a good landing spot, expect his dynasty rank to rise over the summer.

Bell Dynasty Rookie Draft

Even though Bell was the 17th wide receiver off the board in the NFL Draft, he should be one of the first ten wide receivers off the board in dynasty rookie drafts due to his good landing spot and raw talent. He fell in the NFL Draft due to injury concerns. Bell is a late-first to early-second round pick in dynasty rookie drafts. He is in the same tier as Antonio Williams and Denzel Boston.

Bell Dynasty Outlook

Bell has an encouraging dynasty outlook once he can fully recover from his ACL injury. He is a talented player who fell in the NFL Draft due to the severe injury. He joins a Dolphins team that does not have a locked-in WR1 for this season or beyond. The door is open for Bell to take advantage of that opportunity. Bell is worth a draft pick in the early second round or even late first round, depending on team needs in dynasty rookie drafts.
