The Los Angeles Chargers signed center Tyler Biadasz to a new three-year, $30 million contract. Biadasz, a one-time Pro Bowler, spent the 2025 season with the Washington Commanders but has also played for the Dallas Cowboys.
Tyler Biadasz Signs Contract With Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers had the worst interior offensive line in football last year, and the Tyler Biadasz contract will go a long way in fixing the team’s biggest weakness. Bradley Bozeman, last year’s starting center, finished the season with the worst PFF grade at his position and retired, and the Biadasz signing should provide some stability for Los Angeles. While the Commanders had a rough year last year, Biadasz played well, starting and appearing in 16 games while finishing the year with a 70.7 PFF grade, the 12th-best mark in the league.
Los Angeles was able to sign Tyler Biadasz ahead of the legal tampering period because the Washington Commanders released him. While the impending free agents are technically under contract until the start of the 2026 league year, Washington terminated Biadasz’s contract, allowing him to sign with whoever he wanted at any time. The Chargers won the bidding and solidified their starting center and, in the process, removed themselves from the Tyler Linderbaum sweepstakes.
Tyler Biadasz originally entered the league as a fourth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Selected by the Dallas Cowboys, the Wisconsin product spent most of his rookie season as a backup before earning a full-time job in the 2021 season. Starting and appearing in all 17 games, the second-year pro finished the season with a respectable 65.4 PFF grade, the 19th-best mark in the league. He continued to play at this level for the remainder of his rookie contract before signing a new deal with the Washington Commanders in 2024.
Since signing his rookie contract, Tyler Biadasz has appeared in 92 games while making 84 starts.
