Dallas Goedert Injury Update: Star TE’s Status Revealed For Eagles-49ers

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert battled a knee injury throughout the week, but the latest reports indicate this won’t keep him from suiting up against the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card round. The tight end was not listed on the Eagles injury report, which means he will play, barring an unexpected setback.

Dallas Goedert Injury Update: Eagles TE (Knee) Will Play Against 49ers

This report doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, but it is still welcome news for a team that hasn’t looked quite as dominant in years past. While they finished the season with a respectable 11-6 record, the offense hasn’t played up to previous standards. Goedert’s presence should help stabilize the offense, as he’s been arguably the team’s most consistent threat in the red zone.

Starting and appearing in 15 games, Dallas Goedert finished the 2025 regular season with 60 receptions for 591 yards and 11 touchdowns, with 10 of those coming in the red zone. The 11 touchdowns and 60 receptions were career-best numbers, while his 591 receiving yards were his highest since the 2023 season.

Dallas Goedert originally entered the league as a second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Selected by the Philadelphia Eagles, the South Dakota State product began his career behind veteran Zach Ertz. Together, the two formed one of the league’s most consistent and dangerous tight end tandems in football.

Ertz left the Eagles midway through the 2021 season, and Goedert became the unquestioned top tight end in the offense. During his first year without Ertz, the big tight end recorded 56 receptions for a career-high 830 yards and four touchdowns.

Since entering the league, Dallas Goedert has recorded 409 receptions for 4,676 yards and 35 touchdowns, all of which came with the Eagles.
