Harris is coming off yet another successful season as the leader of the Steelers backfield. Starting and appearing in all 17 games, the Alabama product finished the season with 1,043 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 263 carries to go along with 36 receptions for 283 yards. Harris and the Steelers made the playoffs but faltered down the stretch, losing their last four regular season games before losing their lone playoff match with the rival Baltimore Ravens.

Najee Harris originally entered the league as a first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Alabama product made an immediate impact as the leader of this offense. Starting every game, the rookie finished his inaugural season with 1,200 rushing yards and seven touchdowns while adding another 74 receptions for 467 yards and three scores through the air. Harris’ impressive rookie season earned him a spot on the Pro Bowl roster and helped the Steelers make the playoffs in the final year of the Ben Roethlisberger Era.

First-round pick Kenny Pickett took over in 2021 and Harris saw a somewhat reduced role with fellow running back Jaylen Warren joining the mix. However, he still led the team in carries (272), rushing yards (1,034), and rushing touchdowns (seven) as the Steelers finished the year with another winning season. Harris remained productive in 2023, finishing the season with 1,035 rushing yards despite dealing with three separate starting quarterbacks.

Since signing his rookie contract, Najee Harris has started 68 games in the NFL. While on the field, the Alabama product has recorded 1,097 carries for 4,312 yards and 28 touchdowns while adding another 180 receptions for 1,149 yards and six touchdowns through the air.
