NFL veteran center Jason Kelce has signed a new contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. Kelce, a five-time First-Team All-Pro, spent the entirety of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles.
I have put much thought into whether it makes sense to play another season. After talking it over with my wife and many other friends and family, I have decided to return for another year. Thank you to all my supporters and detractors for fueling me, I ain’t fucking done yet!

Jason Kelce, Philadelphia Eagles, Agree to Contract
During his 12th season in the league, Jason Kelce remained his ever-reliable self while anchoring arguably the best offensive line in football. Starting and appearing in all 17 games, Kelce finished the season as the second-best center in football, per Pro Football Focus. In addition to his impressive grade, the center also earned a Pro Bowl nomination, as well as a spot as First-Team All-Pro. The Philadelphia Eagles shared similar success, making it all the way to the Super Bowl before losing in heartbreaking fashion.
Jason Kelce originally entered the NFL as a sixth-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. Selected by the Philadelphia Eagles, it did not take long for the Cincinnati product to outplay his draft billing. The rookie won the Week 1 starting job and maintained that role for the entirety of his inaugural campaign. By doing so, he became the first rookie center to start an entire season in the history of the franchise.
Kelce’s second season in the league ended before it ever truly began, as he uffered a torn ACL and partially torn MCL in the second game of the season. Jason Kelce came back better than ever, starting all 16 games in 2014 and earning a massive contract extension following the season. While injuries limited him to just 12 games in 2014, he has been the picture of health ever since.
From 2015 to 2022, Jason Kelce has appeared in all 130 possible regular season games. Not only has he stayed healthy, but he’s managed to play incredibly well while on the field. During that eight-year stretch, Kelce has made the Pro Bowl five times and earned First-Team All-Pro honors on five separate occasions.
