According to the latest NFL rumors, Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Skyy Moore is battling a hamstring injury that was severe enough to keep him out of rookie minicamp.  Skyy Moore Battling Hamstring Injury

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore has a great opportunity to be an immediate star in the league. Drafted in the second round, the rookie landed with arguably the best head coach and quarterback combination in the league and not much talent at his position. Unfortunately for Moore, he’ll have to wait a bit before developing chemistry with his new quarterback.

According to Herbie Teope of the Kansas City Star, Moore suffered a minor hamstring injury that kept him from running drills at rookie minicamp. Moore has not revealed when he suffered said injury, or how the injury occurred, but the rookie did say that he doesn’t believe it to be a serious injury.

While speaking with Teope, Moore said that the hamstring was “getting better. It’s a minor hamstring tweak. I’m just working with Rick [Burkholder] right now. I’m going to be back soon.”

The Chiefs expect Moore to be back on the field once OTA’s kick off on May 25th. When finally on the field, Moore will join a revamped wide receiver room in Kansas City. After trading away Tryeek Hill, the Chiefs will enter the season with Juju Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling as the presumed top options in the passing attack.

Details Emerge on Earl Thomas Arrest Warrant

Earl Thomas’ hopeful return to the NFL did not last long. On April 22nd, the former All-Pro announced that he wanted to return to the league via a tweet from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. However, teams lost all interest following the issuance of an arrest warrant on April 27th.

Thomas stands accused of a third-degree felony for allegedly violating a protective order two or more times within a 12-month period. This crime supposedly stems from text messages sent prior to the Schefter tweet regarding Thomas’ desire to return to the NFL. The texts, which reportedly included a threat to poison children, were sent on April 18th and 19th.

While Thomas and his legal team have denied all charges, it’s safe to say that he will not make his return to football any time soon. As of this posting, Thomas has yet to be taken into custody for these charges.

During his playing career, Earl Thomas spent nine years in Seattle before finishing his career with the Baltimore Ravens in 2019. He made the Pro Bowl on seven separate occasions and earned First-Team All-Pro honors three times.

K.J. Wright Wants to Return to Seattle

Longtime NFL linebacker K.J. Wright is one of the best free agents left on the market, and he could be waiting for the right fit before signing anywhere. Recently, the one-time Super Bowl champion said that he just wants “to go back home” and play for the Seattle Seahawks again.

Pete Carroll recently addressed these comments. While speaking with Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribute, the head coach said that “I love K.J. I’ve already talked to him about stuff for the future, and all that. I did hear that he talked about playing. We’ve already talked about that.”

While Wright can still play, it’s hard to see him being much of a fit with Seattle’s current philosophy. The team has embraced a build for the future after trading away Russell Wilson and releasing Bobby Wagner. Now entering his age-33 season, Wright would not help Seattle’s clear desire to get younger.
