Eight-year NFL veteran wide receiver Allen Robinson signed a three-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams. Robinson, a one-time Pro Bowl selection, spent the 2021 season with the Chicago Bears and has also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Allen Robinson, Los Angeles Rams, Agree to Contract
The 2021 campaign was a season to forget for Allen Robinson. Playing on the franchise tag, the former second-round pick finished the year with just 38 receptions for 410 yards and one touchdown on 66 targets while catching passes from Justin Fields, Andy Dalton, and Nick Foles. This was easily the worst year of his career, and hopefully he can bounce back with his new contract. In his previous two seasons with Chicago, Robinson recorded a combined 200 receptions for 2,397 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Robinson originally entered the NFL as a second-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Penn State product immediately made an impact for the Jaguars and fellow rookie Blake Bortles. Appearing in 10 games, Robinson finished his inaugural season with 48 receptions for 548 yards and two touchdowns.
Robinson’s best season to date came in 2015. Starting and appearing in all 16 games, the second-year pro recorded 80 receptions for 1,400 yards and an NFL-leading 14 touchdown receptions. He followed that up by recording 73 receptions for 883 yards and six touchdowns in 2016.
Unfortunately for Robinson, he couldn’t replicate his success during his contract season. Robinson appeared in just one game in 2017, catching one pass for 17 yards before tearing his ACL. Following the injury, the Chicago Bears decided to gamble on the young talent, and Robinson rewarded that faith by hauling in 55 receptions for 754 yards and four touchdowns.
By far one of the most interesting things about Robinson’s career has been his unfortunate quarterback carousel. Since entering the NFL, the Penn State product has hauled in passes from Blake Bortles, Mitchell Trubisky, Nick Foles, Andy Dalton, and a rookie Justin Fields.
