The Tucker Kraft dynasty conversation is a positive one these days. While the Green Bay Packers’ star tight end is still rehabbing a torn ACL, all signs on the road to recovery have been good, and there are whispers of a looming contract extension.
Kraft displayed elite ability in the first half of the 2025 season, creating serious optimism about his long-term dynasty outlook. The big question, of course, will be if his knee injury becomes a problem for him in 2026, and if he can officially take his game to the next level.
Tucker Kraft Dynasty Fantasy Outlook in 2026
Tucker Kraft’s 2025 Rise
Kraft only lasted until week nine last year, but when he was active, he was cracking heads and tearing it up as Green Bay’s top weapon in the passing game. He had numerous big games, including a huge 33.3-point fantasy explosion in week eight against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
His 2025 campaign would sadly end the very next week, but before he went down with a shredded knee, he generated 14.7 fantasy points per game. For that opening stretch, he ranked as TE3, and for the year, his average was good for a tie for TE2.
Just as importantly, the guy was absurdly efficient.

Naturally, a lot of people are curious if Kraft’s first-half production is something he can stretch out over a full season. If so, he may have given everyone a sneak peek at a top-5 fantasy tight end moving forward.

In conversations with the media, Kraft has suggested that the goal is to be ready for the team’s Week 1 battle with the Minnesota Vikings. With a return timeline in place, concern over his ACL tear is beginning to lessen.
Green Bay is set to place Kraft on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list ahead of training camps, but he’s still fully expected to be on the practice field come August. While it’s fair to assume he won’t suit up for any preseason games, Kraft appears to be in a good place with his recovery.
Tucker Kraft Dynasty Price
Positive injury news is always good, and that plays into a very welcoming long-term prognosis for Kraft. There’s always a chance he could be slow to regain his previous form immediately out of the gates, but given the advances in ACL recovery and his age (25), he’s expected to continue to be regarded as a very valuable long-term dynasty asset.
Kraft was already starting to carve out a reliable role in Green Bay’s passing game. That should grow even more with the Packers’ receiving room undergoing major changes this offseason.
KeepTradeCut presently has him valued at a mid first-round pick for 2026, and a late first-round pick for 2027. That price should see a sizable jump in TEP leagues, too. The price is steep, but since there are still unknowns associated with Kraft, it’s possible he can be acquired for cheaper if dynasty owners are looking to sell.
Tucker Kraft Dynasty Outlook
The knee injury is an undeniable hiccup in Kraft’s valuation. However, his age, production, expected contract, and ceiling make him a very appealing dynasty buy. Kraft was sensational when healthy last year, churning out serious production after the catch.
There is mild concern when looking at his role and injury, of course. Kraft has relied on short area targets and turning them into bigger than expected gains. If Kraft is slowed down by his knee injury even a little bit, it could impact his YAC production.
That said, Kraft is a big-time buy in dynasty fantasy football leagues. He’s still young, he proved he has elite ability, and it’s still possible to get him at a slight discount due to his injury.
