Romeo Doubs enters free agency on the heels of his most impressive season to date. Appearing in 16 games while making 15 starts, the Nevada product finished the season with 55 receptions for 724 yards and six touchdowns on 85 receptions. Doubs originally entered the league as a fourth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. The rookie immediately made an impact, recording 42 receptions for 425 yards and three touchdowns on 67 attempts. Despite the strong season, the Packers narrowly missed the playoffs after losing in Week 17 to the Detroit Lions. This would end up being the final game of the Aaron Rodgers Era.
Jordan Love took over starting duties in 2023, and Romeo Doubs responded with an even better season. Immediately establishing a rapport with his new quarterback, Doubs finished the season with 59 receptions for 674 yards and a career-high eight touchdowns. The Packers defeated the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round before losing a nailbiter to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round. He followed it up with a similar season in 2024, recording 46 receptions for 601 yards and four touchdowns on 72 targets. The Packers made the playoffs once again, but unfortunately went one-and-done to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
Since signing his rookie contract, Romeo Doubs has appeared in 59 games while making 50 starts. During his time on the field, the Nevada product has recorded 202 receptions for 2,424 yards and 21 touchdowns on 320 targets. He’s established himself as a solid starter but has never made the Pro Bowl or earned an All-Pro vote.
