Wan'Dale Robinson Free Agent

Report: “Seems Likely” Wan’Dale Robinson Will Sign With This Team

After spending the first four years of his career with the New York Giants, wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson is scheduled to be a free agent for the first time in his career. Originally selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Kentucky product established himself as a reliable possession receiver before breaking out in 2025.

Appearing in 16 of a possible 17 games, the wide receiver finished his fourth season with 92 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns on 140 targets. He immediately established a connection with rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart and proved he can handle being the top option in a passing offense, as he played most of the season without Malik Nabers dictating coverage.

Wan’Dale Robinson is not an elite wide receiver, but a free agent like him should earn a massive raise in the coming months. While several teams could spend big if he reaches the open market, ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reports the wide receiver will likely re-sign with the Giants. Saying that a reunion “seems likely,” it’s clear the Giants believe retaining Robinson will be crucial to Dart’s development.

REPORT: “Seems Likely” Giants Sign Free Agent Wan’Dale Robinson

It’s easy to see why the New York Giants want to keep Wan’Dale Robinson from reaching the free agent market. This franchise lives and dies with Jaxson Dart, and while he flashed plenty of promise as a rookie, there is no guarantee he’ll turn into a legitimate franchise quarterback.

Dart’s biggest issue was his inability to stay out of harm’s way and stay on the field. The best ability is availability, and someone like Robinson could be especially valuable for this type of quarterback. Robinson excels at quickly getting open, and having a safe checkdown option could keep Dart from taking unnecessary hits. Factor in the uncertainty surrounding Malik Nabers and his knee injury and you could easily argue re-signing Wan’Dale Robinson should be the team’s top priority.
