A.J. Brown Trade

“Several Executives” Expect Blockbuster Offseason Trade

1. New England Patriots

Drake Maye is coming off one of the most efficient games in NFL history, and he did it without his second- and third-best wide receivers. Yes, it was against a bad Jets defense, but this type of play is rare. New England is well ahead of schedule in their rebuild, as it won the AFC East and should be a top-two seed in the playoffs.

No matter what happens in January, this future is bright for this team. They have the most cap space in football, an MVP-caliber quarterback on a rookie contract, and 10 draft picks in 2026. They should be more than willing to send one of those picks to Philadelphia in a trade for A.J. Brown.
