5 More Trades the Patriots Could Make

3. Jakobi Meyers

Jakobi Meyers requested a trade from the Raiders just before the start of the regular season, and Vegas could finally grant that request at the trade deadline. The team entered the season with postseason aspirations after bringing in head coach Pete Carroll and trading for quarterback Geno Smith. Unfortunately, these transactions have not resulted in wins, as the team is 2-5 and likely to sell at the deadline.

Jakobi Meyers is the subject of several potential trades, but nothing makes more sense than a reunion with the New England Patriots. While the team has one of the best passing attacks in football, they could use a player like Meyers who can consistently get open early in his routes and keep the chains moving. Combining his abilities as a possession receiver with Kayshon Boutte and Stefon Diggs could give New England one of the most well-rounded aerial attacks in football.
