D’Andre Swift Injury Update: RB’s Status Revealed For Bears-Ravens

Chicago Bears starting running back D’Andre Swift has battled a groin injury throughout the week, but the latest report from Ian Rapoport suggests the veteran will suit up on Sunday. In a recent tweet, the NFL insider said that Swift is “expected to play” despite officially being listed as questionable on the injury report.

D’Andre Swift Injury Update: Bears RB “Expected to Play” Against Ravens

This is good news for the Chicago Bears, as D’Andre Swift missed some practice time throughout the week with his groin injury. He didn’t participate at all on Wednesday and was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday. While he’s not at full strength, he is healthy enough to play on Sunday, which is good news for the team and his fantasy managers alike.

Several questions surrounded D’Andre Swift following a disappointing first season with the Bears, but the veteran has been everything the team could hope for in 2025. Starting in all six games, Swift has recorded 419 yards and three touchdowns on 89 carries while adding an additional 16 receptions for 166 yards and a score through the air. He’s not Jonathan Taylor, but he’s been a solid starter for a team that enters Week 8 with an impressive 4-2 record.

D’Andre Swift and the Bears will face a Baltimore Ravens team that is arguably the biggest disappointment in football. Entering the season with Super Bowl aspirations, the squad is currently 1-5 and might miss the playoffs for the first time in years. Lamar Jackson will not suit up thanks to a hamstring injury, leaving veteran Tyler Huntley under center for this contest. The veteran usurped Cooper Rush as the backup in Week 6 and has completed 10 of his 15 attempts for 68 yards this season. Throughout the course of his career, Huntley has completed 64.7% of his passes for 2,854 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.
