4. Cincinnati

The Bearcats remain unbeaten in Big 12 play after romping Oklahoma State 49-17 in Week 9. But it’s hard to be too impressed by that; everyone blows out Oklahoma State! So let’s be impressed by the efficient play of Brendan Sorsby, who only needed 29 attempts to throw for 270 yards against the Pokes, as he continues to be a dark-horse candidate for Big 12 POTY.
5. Utah

Make no mistake about it – the Utes are a good football team. But they’re not quite up to snuff with the top of this conference. Devon Dampier has not played poorly, but he hasn’t done enough to bring this new offense up to the heights it has needed to be at in big games so far this season.
6. TCU

It looked like an old-school Big 12 battle as “the Revivalry” saw 78 total points scored in TCU’s 42-36 victory. What was not old school, however, was TCU’s ability to run the ball. Kevorian
Barnes and Trent Battle combined for 181 yards and 3 TDs as the Horned Frogs completely ran over Baylor.
