3. Carolina Panthers
At 3-3, the Carolina Panthers find themselves in the thick of the playoff hunt. While the team probably won’t usurp the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC South, they could easily fight for a playoff spot with Bryce Young making the Year 3 leap. While the wide receiver room has plenty of young talent, the tight end position could use some work.
It’s early, but Mithcell Evans already looks like one of the league’s better blockers at the tight end position. However, he still has yet to prove himself as a receiver, as he only has one game with more than one reception. A David Njoku trade would give Young another set of hands and add a crucial veteran presence to one of the youngest groups of pass-catchers in the league.
