1. Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers enter Week 7 with the top spot in a crowded AFC West. Currently sitting at 4-2, the team would host a playoff game if the season ended today, but the 4-2 Denver Broncos and 3-3 Kansas City Chiefs are on their heels. Justin Herbert is having a fantastic season, but this team must add some talent to overcome their endless run of injuries and to stay ahead of their division rivals.
The best thing to do is trade for a reliable tight end like David Njoku. Tyler Conklin is a replacement-level player at this stage in his career, and you don’t want to put too much on Ordone Gadsen’s plate, even though he has played well in small doses. Given the injured state of the offensive line, Herbert could use someone like Njoku, who can help in the trenches and serve as a reliable checkdown.
