1. New England Patriots
The New England Patriots messed up when they effectively allowed Meyers to walk in favor of Juju Smith-Schuster. Now, it’s time to rectify that mistake with a trade that will bring Jakobi Meyers back to his original team. While Tom Brady may not be in town anymore, the Patriots seem to have another great quarterback in Drake Maye. The second-year pro is destroying defenses through the air and has the team atop the AFC East.
New England doesn’t need another wide receiver, as Stefon Diggs and Kayshon Boutte have played well throughout the season. However, Maye’s contract is arguably the biggest competitive advantage in football, and the team should go all-in on building a roster that can go deep in the playoffs. They have the quarterback; now it’s time to build everything else.
