Chiefs Twitter Reacts To Insulting Creed Humphrey NFL Ranking

Kansas City Chiefs center Creed Humphrey is one of the best players in the NFL and has been a staple at the position since entering the league. A three-time Pro Bowler, one-time First-Team All-Pro, and two-time Super Bowl champion, Humphrey is an elite player and didn’t get the recognition he deserved in the NFL Top 100 list. A consensus ranking of all the players in the NFL, made by the players, the league named Humphrey the 93rd-best player in the NFL, which is an insult to someone of his elite level.

Seeing as center is a relatively unimportant position compared to quarterbacks, offensive tackles, cornerbacks, and receivers, there is a case to be made that Creed Humphrey is the 93rd-most valuable player in the NFL. However, this list isn’t supposed to take positional value into the equation, and there are 92 players better at their jobs than Humphrey.

Chiefs Twitter Reacts To Creed Humphrey’s Ranking In NFL Top 100

The Chiefs official account tweeted out Humphrey’s ranking on July 4th, and it didn’t take long for fans to, justifiably, question the voters.

Disrespectful is right. Center is an overlooked position, and fans and analysts can overlook the men doing the hard work in the middle of the offensive line. However, this list shows players have a similar blind spot. Other fans looked past the ranking, simply responding to the NFL’s post by calling Creed Humphrey the best center in the league.

You know the NFL ranking for Creed Humphrey is bad when Bills Mafia is upset about it. Greg Tompsett of Cover 1 is one of the most popular voices of Bills Mafia, and even he needed to express his shock at Humphrey’s low ranking.
