Like seemingly every other player on the 2024 New Orleans Saints, Paulson Adebo lost a sizable portion of the season to injury. The star cornerback played a crucial role in a strong Saints defense before suffering a season-ending femur injury in Week 7’s loss to the Denver Broncos. Starting and appearing in seven games, the cornerback finished the final year of his rookie deal with three interceptions, 10 passes defended, 52 tackles, one tackle-for-loss, one quarterback hit, and a 63.3 PFF grade.

Paulson Adebo initially entered the NFL as a third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Selected by the New Orleans Saints, the Stanford product immediately earned a starting job under then-head coach Sean Payton. Starting and appearing in all 17 games, the rookie finished his inaugural season with three interceptions, 66 tackles, four tackles-for-loss, eight passes defended, and a 60.3 PFF grade. Despite his strong debut, the Saints missed the playoffs after a series of injuries decimated the quarterback position.

Payton retired after the 2021 season and Adebo needed some time to adjust to head coach Dennis Allen. After a rough 2022, the cornerback bounced back with the best season of his career. Starting and appearing in 15 games, Adebo finished the 2023 season with a career-best four interceptions, 76 tackles, 32 passes defended, two forced fumbles, and a 78.6 PFF grade, the 15th-best mark of 127 eligible players. Unfortunately, New Orleans again missed the playoffs thanks to a tiebreaker with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Since signing his rookie contract, Paulson Adebo has appeared in 52 games while making 51 starts. During his time on the field, the Stanford product has recorded 10 interceptions, 43 passes defended, two forced fumbles, 254 tackles, seven tackles-for-loss, and one quarterback hit.
