Tee Higgins dynasty outlook

Tee Higgins: Bengals Wide Receiver Dynasty Outlook

With the 2024 fantasy football season now complete, more speculation arises about what the Cincinnati Bengals will do with Tee Higgins. Higgins finished the regular season on a high note, so let’s take a look at his dynasty outlook.

Tee Higgins: Bengals Wide Receiver Dynasty Outlook

Current Performance

Higgins was very inconsistent throughout the fantasy football regular season. If you stuck with him through the playoffs, your patience was rewarded. He averaged 18.57 fantasy points during Weeks 15-17 with five touchdowns, and championship weekend was his best performance.

Injuries caused Higgins to miss five games in 2024, so there is a little cause for concern there. He was a huge beneficiary of the Bengals playing much better as the season progressed. Higgins’ connection with Joe Burrow grew each week especially in the later stages of the season. Since Week 11, he posted 50+ receiving yards in all but one game.

If Higgins continues to play at this level, he could be on border of low-end WR1 and high-end WR2 for fantasy football. However, it’s anyone’s guess where he ends up for 2025 and beyond.

Tee Higgins Dynasty Price

Higgins’ price has skyrocketed over the last few weeks due to his recent performances. Those who drafted him are essentially getting a king’s ransom for Higgins. Fantasytradecalc has a list of all trades involving him, whether he was the only piece being dealt or included in a package.

One of the more recent trades saw a swap of Higgins and Jauan Jennings plus a first rounder in 2025 and a second rounder in 2026. Others see Higgins included in packages for players like Patrick Mahomes, Brian Thomas Jr. and even Justin Jefferson. As the fantasy offseason progresses, there’s a chance the asking prices decline slightly.

What to do With Tee Higgins in Dynasty Leagues

Higgins owners are hoping he re-signs with the Bengals and continues his connection with Burrow. Everyone in the football world would argue that is the best case scenario for him. However, there’s always the speculation about whether or not he actually returns to Cincinnati.

As a result, below is going to break things down for those who are risk averse and those who are risk seekers.

Risk-Averse Managers

Risk-averse managers are expecting the worst when it comes to Higgins and free agency. He certainly has the talent to be the top receiver on any team in the league, but the concern stems from not having a player like Ja’Marr Chase to complement him. The New England Patriots are rumored to be a team interested in Higgins, and he may not produce there like he has been with the Bengals.

Risk-averse managers aren’t going to expect the worst and trade Higgins right away. However, they will be cautiously optimistic and wait to see where he goes before deciding his fate on their team.

Risk-Seeking Managers

Risk-seeking managers are all-in on Higgins. They aren’t concerned with where he ends up, as they know he will get targets and produce. Stephen A. Smith is predicting the Pittsburgh Steelers as a potential landing spot for Higgins, but a true market hasn’t been established yet. However, those who like taking risks will continue to deploy him in their lineup. They know the talent Higgins brings to the table every week and will trust his decision wherever he ends up.
