Ashton Jeanty College Statistics
As a true junior, Jeanty has accumulated 4,665 rushing yards on 6.5 yards per carry (not including the CFB playoff). For some context, he’s averaging 7.3 yards per carry this season and has more yards after contact than any running back PFF has ever charted. He is more than capable in the receiving game, with 43 receptions as a sophomore and 20 so far this season. His numbers are off of any chart analysts can find, and even his film is out of this world.

Jeanty is a back with a three-down skill set, exceptional movement skills, and vision who can elevate a rushing attack from the middle of the road to intimidating opposing defenses. Detractors will point to the sheer volume of carries he toted at Boise State, but that should be promising for NFL scouts. The best indicator of a player’s ability to handle volume in the NFL is how they handle it in college, and Jeanty wore defenses down across the country. He can turn a one-yard loss into a three-yard gain, and turn a three-yard gain into an explosive play for his team. He’s the top running back in the class among one of the best classes the draft community has seen since 2017.
Ashton Jeanty Dynasty Outlook
For many analysts, Jeanty is the 1.01 in any format. Tetairoa McMillan may have something to say about that, but they’re in a tier of their own. Even in superflex leagues where quarterbacks are gold, Jeanty has more talent and stability than any of the top signal callers in the 2025 NFL draft. Jeanty will immediately jump to a top-three dynasty running back, and some may even put him as RB1 ahead of the draft. Landing spot will impact where he stands among other solidified veterans, but in his class he’s the top guy.
